Our Story

Pam MacDonald, owner of Pam MacD’s Gluten-Free Market, has been living gluten-free since she was diagnosed with Celiac Disease in 1997. Like many other gluten-free consumers, Pam encountered difficulties while grocery shopping. She was unable to find a wide selection of gluten-free products, a product savvy and knowledgeable staff, and a unique mix of local and name brands in one location. Pam decided to address these issues with her own retail solution.

In April, 2011, Pam MacD’s Gluten-Free Market opened in Burbank, CA. We are the only dedicated gluten-free market in the Greater Los Angeles area. Our market offers top-of-the-line gluten-free foods and we support many local and independent brands. We offer a wide array of products, including frozen and refrigerated items, which will help ease your transition into a gluten-free lifestyle.

It is currently estimated that 20% of the people in the United States are gluten intolerant. Additionally, many medical professionals are recommending a gluten-free diet to relieve symptoms of other diseases. Pam MacD’s Gluten-Free Market proudly serves the celiac community.
